FSSAI Basic registration

FSSAI Basic registration is applicable on sole proprietor, small businesses, having annual turnover below INR 12 Lakhs. As operations scale up and turnover reaches Rs. 12 Lakhs mark, the basic registration will need to be upgraded to state or central license, as applicable. As the name suggest, it is very basic registration, which is for small businesses and is valid in limited area of operations and for limited Kind of Businesses.
